 DAS Holding has been awarded ISO 9001: 2008 Certification for its entire Management
Services from QA International Certification Limited, U.K.
This highly regarded International Certification is a proof of our commitment to the highest
standards of quality management and is an affirmation of it's Leadership's dedication to the
continual quality improvement.
DAS Holding has developed, implemented and has been maintaining the Quality Management
System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 requirements. In fulfilling these requirements,
entire range of business processes had to be integrated in the QMS. Further, this was achieved
by monitoring the efficiency and efficacy of these processes through internal & external audits,
maintaining flawless records, periodically reviewing the QMS for effectiveness, and adopting
a critical approach to facilitate constant improvement. This was a rigorous process involving
internal and external evaluations of QMS, identifying nonconformities and taking corrective
measures to ensure continual quality improvement. |

UDI awarded with ISO 9001:2008 certification by BSI
 On September 30, 2010, the British Standards Institution (BSI) awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certification to the United Design International (UDI), the subsidiary of DAS Holding. The achievement demonstrates commitment and involvement of the Leadership of DAS Holding towards International Standards to deliver the highest service quality and greater customer satisfaction.
UDI has been the recipient of two International Awards, e.g., Golden Europe Award for Quality, New Millennium Award, Paris, France, 2010 and 38th International Award for Commercial Prestige (Madrid, Spain, 20th July 2009) as recognition for its trajectory and business excellence.
The Interior Design, Project Management and execution of UDI was awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certification as recognition for implementing practices that are in accordance with the Quality Management Systems standard. After an extensive audit, the certification was issued by the British Standards Institution (BSI) on September 30, 2010.
ISO 9000 is a family of standards and guidelines for Quality Management Systems and is maintained by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The requirements are continuously updated and were last changed on 15 November, 2008, creating the current version of ISO 9001:2008. The ISO certification process ensures ongoing compliance with performance standards. Once certified, companies are externally audited on a regular basis to ensure continuous adherence to the standards. The current certification of UDI is valid for a period of three years. |

DAS Holding Renewed its Partnership with Dubai Quality Group
|
DAS Holding has renewed its partnershp with Dubai Quality Group for third consecutive year on 1st of july 2010.
The leadership of DAS Holding reinforced and clearly demonstrated its commitment towards Quality and Business Excellence by taking a step forward towards ‘Quality Drive’ and becoming the Investor Partner of ‘Dubai Quality Group’ on 1st July 2008 which was renewed on 1st July 2009 and now in 2010 for the third consecutive year.
The partnership ceremony took place at DAS's headquarters, Abu Dhabi and aimed at promoting quality standards in the investment sector, real estate and oil, especially, as DAS operate under its umbrella many companies covering different sectors all over the UAE.
In a press release following the signing of the agreement, Mr. Naser Almur Al Zaabi, Chief Operating Officer of DAS Holding said, "The renewal of our partnership with Dubai Quality Group arose from our belief in the active role played by DQG in promoting the principles of the highest quality standards at DAS Holding, in addition to providing all necessary support in this regard over the past years."
"DAS Holding has a strong presence in the economic arena, as the renewal of this partnership aims to strengthen our strategy in supporting the national economy and creating a new business opportunity through the achievement of excellence and quality in the business environment which would achieve common interests and benefit the business community as a whole," added Mr. Al Zaabi.
In turn, Mrs. Samia Al Yousuf, Executive Director of Dubai Quality Group, said:

Alrroya Aleqtisadiya, meaning Economic Vision, is the first Arabic language newspaper in the Emirates dedicated to business, financial and economic affairs from a UAE perspective. Since the UAE’s formation in 1971 the country has become one of the world’s fastest growing economies and continues to attract some of the leading global companies. However, in terms of having Arabic business newspapers reflecting this growth the UAE has, until now, lagged but with the launch of Alrroya Aleqtisadiya a new benchmark has been set. |
